Eligibility confirmation for degrees and certificate studies

onfirmation of eligibility for degrees and certificate studies may be obtained only after submitting a request for graduation. The confirmation will be given to students who have fulfilled all academic requirements and met all financial obligations. 
The date of eligibility confirmation for academic degree / certificate studies is determined by the date the last task for the degree has been fulfilled: the date of the last exam, the date the last assignment was submitted as reported by the department to the Exam Office, or the date on which a waiver was granted by the Status Office/School of Graduate Studies/other.

After receiving the degree eligibility confirmation, no changes may be made, including: 

  1. Date of academic degree / certificate studies eligibility. 
  2. Grade improvement in a course or any other academic task pertaining to the academic degree / certificate.
  3. Study track and the order in which departments are listed on the eligibility confirmation and on the diploma / certificate.
  4. Grade point average.
  5. First name / last name to appear on the diploma / certificate.

Students in programs that combine two degrees may obtain eligibility confirmation for both degrees in the same year. The diplomas for the degree will be awarded in two successive years. Two degrees may not be awarded in the same year, other than certificate studies + an academic degree.

A prerequisite for being awarded a teaching certificate is bachelor's degree eligibility. Correspondingly, the date of the teaching certificate eligibility shall not precede the date of the bachelor's degree eligibility. This condition also applies to programs that combine two degrees.

The order in which departments appear on the eligibility confirmation and on the diploma shall be determined as specified by the student in the request for graduation. The preference will determine both the order in which the departments appear on the diploma and the relevant assignment at the graduation ceremony.

Degree eligibility confirmation does not serve as an invitation to the graduation ceremony. Invitations to graduation will be sent to eligible graduates via email, prior to the graduation ceremony.
