Grade improvement in Moed Bet in the year the course was taken
The right for grade improvement is granted to all students who wish to do so in accordance with the following general rules:
- Students who did not take an exam in Moed Aleph at all or who received a grade of 70 or lower – appear automatically on the Moed Bet list and need not sign up.
- Students who received a grade of 71 or higher in Moed A (the first exam sitting) and wish to take Moed B (the second exam sitting) may register through the In-Bar system. Go to “Exam Schedule” and click “Submit a Request” under “Exam Registration.”
Registration opens 17 days before the exam and closes 7 days before the exam, not counting the exam day.
After registration closes, students may register with the invigilators in the exam room. Late registration is subject to a handling fee of NIS 80, which will be charged to the student’s tuition account.
Please register on time to avoid this fee. - Please note – Students taking exams at home on the Tomax platform may not sign up for grade improvement on the day of the exam. A late registration form available on the website may be submitted to the Exam Office up to three business days prior to the exam date. Please sign up in time and avoid handling fees. Students signing up late for Tomax-based exams will not receive an email message with their exam ID. Their exam ID will appear on the In-Bar exam schedule four hours before the exam time.
- Students who register for Moed Bet and would like to cancel, may do so via In-Bar, until one week before the exam date.
- Per Bar-Ilan policy – if an exam was taken in two exam periods (two Moeds), only the latter of the two counts.
- Students who were already given an exam booklet and then choose not to take the exam for any reason, must wait 30 minutes in the classroom, and will receive a failing grade. This policy applies to exams in every exam period.
- Students who took the course last year and were approved for a special exam period – a single one – are not entitled to Moed Bet exams if they already exercised that right in Moed Aleph in the current academic year.
