Exam integrity
- The Exam Office insists on proper management of exams and enforcement of appropriate exam guidelines, with an emphasis on exam integrity. Maintaining exam integrity is a necessary condition for retaining equity among examinees and the value and reliability of exams as a measure of evaluation.
- Possession of material not approved for use in the exam or any communication between students during the exam, whether by speaking or passing material, constitutes a severe disciplinary violation.
- Examinees breaching policy may continue their exams after being warned that they will face disciplinary proceedings.
It is strictly prohibited for students to be in possession of cellphones, smart watches or any other electronic devices during the exam, even if they are turned off. This also applies to security force personnel. In keeping with the Senate decision, anyone in violation of this prohibition will be immediately punished by cancellation of the entire course, without appearing before the disciplinary committee
